The State Of The Video Game Industry
The video game industry is still fairly young, and in the early 1980’s, we almost saw the end of this industry. What can we make of this industry many years later. Is it healthy? Or is it ready for another crash?
It was more than a decade ago when both Sony and Nintendo dominated the video game industry. It used to be both Sega and Nintendo that dominated the industry, but that was before Sony entered the picture, and quite literally knocked out Sega as a video game hardware manufacturer, leaving them with creating software titles only.
Rotocast, 3D CAD, 3D Printing, and other Rapid Prototype Services
Prototype Services, Rotocast, 3D CAD and information on
other Prototype Services
Since rapid prototyping came into being, many businesses
provided with the service of prototype development. Earlier, such companies
were known as service bureaus and they allowed the users to access the unproven
and expensive technology. In the early period of rapid prototyping, these
service bureaus provided with advantages of prototype development minus the
soaring upfront expenses and major risks of applying a new technology that was
relatively unverified and hovering on the brink of rapid obsolescence. In the
beginning, the service bureaus provided file conversions for narrowing the
operational gap amidst 2D data and 3D CAD models. Due to this, the large
companies that had not yet transitioned to solid modeling were benefited
greatly.
Digital Photography: The More Things Change, The More They Stay The Same.
Photography has embraced enormous changes in technology in recent years. There appears to be a huge gap between the old ways and the new. But as time goes by, it seems that the more things change, the more they stay the same.
Digital photography has created an interesting divide between two schools of photography. There are the old-school film photographers who dismiss all things digital as inferior, not the same as ‘real’ photography. Then there are the wholehearted digital converts, who think film photographers are living in the dark ages.
